Form E Prep Assistant

Form E is the 30 page financial statement used in divorce and dissolution finances. It looks daunting. Answer a few plain questions and we will show you only the parts that apply to you, what to gather, your deadline, and a copy-ready answer sheet.

England and Wales only. The rules here do not apply to Scotland or Northern Ireland, which handle financial disclosure differently. This tool helps you organise and prepare. It does not fill in or submit your Form E, and it is not legal advice on how to answer for your own situation.

You do not have to do this alone. If this feels overwhelming, or you feel unsafe, free help is available from Citizens Advice and Rights of Women, and the court can put protective measures in place for anyone who needs them. Taking it one section at a time is enough.

Your deadline

Form E must be exchanged and filed at least 35 days before your First Appointment. Give us whichever date you have and we will work the rest out.

It is on the Notice of First Appointment (Form C) sent to you by the court.

If you only have this, we will estimate the deadline and explain how to confirm it.

Nothing you enter here is stored or sent anywhere. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything runs in your browser for this session only, and it is all gone the moment you close the tab.
